Dr. Anand Thakkar, MD is the founder and medical director of Bliss MD. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine (ABIM) and, through A4M, in anti-aging and regenerative medicine. He leads patient care at both of our clinics: Lincoln Park in Chicago and Hanover Park, near Schaumburg.
His approach starts with listening and with labs. He looks for what is driving your symptoms, explains what he finds in plain language and builds a plan around your results and goals. For many patients that includes hormone care, functional medicine testing or regenerative treatments, always under his supervision.

- Results review. Testing usually comes back within 2 to 4 weeks. Dr. Thakkar walks you through each result and designs your plan.
- Treatment and follow-up. Regular follow-up visits and repeat labs let him adjust your plan. Many follow-ups can be done by secure video. First visits and procedures are in person.
You don’t need a referral. Many patients keep their primary care physician and specialists, and Dr. Thakkar can share findings with them when that helps your care.
